The death of Mrs. Sarah C. Davis, wife of Hiram Davis, occurred Friday morning at the home on Franklin street. Mrs. Davis has been ill for several months and during the past three weeks was in dangerous condition most of the time. A post mortem inquest was held at the home that morning by Dr's Ester, Niven, and Sigmond and they decided that her death had been caused by an abscess of the liver complicated with appendicitis. Mrs. Davis leaves four children, Will, May, Bertha, and Mrs. Elizabeth Griffin. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at Memorial chapel and the internment was at Oak Hill.
